The Spanish Association of Beef Cattle Producers (ASOPROVAC) is the most representative organization of the productive sector of Spanish beef cattle, gathering 80% of the country's output and more than 3,000 associates around the country. ASOPROVAC is a trade association formed in turn by the Autonomous associations. Currently associations in Aragon, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla Leon and Catalonia, and producers associated with the rest of Spain.

Their sovereign bodies are the General Assembly and its Board, which delegated to the Executive Committee the task to guide, define and develop the basic lines of action at national level.

Last ASOPROVAC aims to ensure the protection of the interests of owners of Spanish beef cattle. Its main function is, therefore, represent and defend those interests to the government of rank regional, national and community levels.

A team of agricultural engineers and veterinarians who specialize in all aspects of beef meat production puts his knowledge to serve the members.

Also the training of farmers and legal advice to them, are key services offered by ASOPROVAC.

In a changing and sometimes complex, the farmer needs timely information on various aspects of their activity, so that the Association keeps them informed promptly through their website and their magazine for free distribution partners.
